One Reason Why I Write On Aff
 

Just like for people to know that we missionaries are human too! Some seem to think we fly around like angels with people waving at us. In reality we are just people, just like you. We have likes and dislikes, we get our feelings hurt, grow tired and weary.
We love and sometimes even hate! We may be known to be fearless but we are afraid.
So as you read our stories, our newsletters, be assured we usually tell the exciting things of missionary life but we have our down days.
We don´t always walk on water we are usually very earthly and sometimes find ourselves sinking while screaming Jesus!

I am sorry sister A, I dont think you will be able to convince us that you are not a saint.

We are your friends in the good times and bad. You can use your writing here to express your trials too.

I bet ya we can uplift you when you are tired too! We are here for you all the time!

Today have had 2 of my kids (grown) at the doctor´s and in a few minutes have to take my grandson to a heart doctor.
Had a Bible study. The presence of the Lord was very strong.
One of our son´s walked in my office today and said, "Mother, I love you." He too is grown and has kids but that sure made me feel good.
Glad that we have a God that is a God of love therefore when He lives in our hearts we too love.

I think that many of us post here because of a need we feel to 'stay connected' - some because, altho we were Apostolic for many years, now we are not; some because they have friends they need to connect with who come here; some just for fellowship; and a few because you are in a remote area where the need to be able to connect and fellowship with those who share your same heritage becomes very important.

I enjoy your writings. I appreciate your testimony. And I respect your life.
