Satan opens eyes & God opens eyes - the difference
When satan led Adam and Eve to eat the forbidden fruit, their eyes were opened and they saw their nakedness that was always their state, but they never knew it before. And it led to shame.
But Paul prayed that our eyes be opened in Eph 1 to also see something that was always with s since our NEW CREATION, and it ENCOURAGES US! Paul said we have always had, since salvation, the same power that resurrected and enthroned Jesus upon us, and we just have not seen it! Fruit of knowledge of good and evil versus fruit of Life! |

The tree of life is eternal life now. It is not a literal Tree, I believe. The tree lines both sides of the river of life, and Psalm 2 ties that in with us as trees planted by the waters whose fruit and leaves remain, while the fruit and leaves are emphasized in Rev 22 on the tree. It's all related to Ezekiel 47. |
