Every place I see just about has "now hiring" signs up. Yet nobody seems to be getting hired, companies complaining about nobody applying for work, not enough workers, there's a labor shortage, etc etc.

Almost like, there's a PEOPLE shortage...?

Curiously, traffic is still horrible at rush hour.
