I was a bit disappointed that I wasn’t able to go to GC this year, since it’s next door in CA. Then I turned on the livestream tonight.

Multiple huge screens (six or seven of them), fog, and lighting.

Apparently the power of the Holy Ghost just isn’t enough for the UPCI anymore. We need to make GC look like the Grammy’s or VMA’s.

There is absolutely no spiritual value in all of this production.

I’m done with it.

Hey, the Church of God, International still don't wear them cloth necklaces! (Never mind the fine watches, rings, and necklaces with the silver and diamond $ pendants or the other bling.) Oh, they got fogs and LED lights too.

I never understood the prohibition of wedding rings in ultra conservative church es, yet the expensive engagement watch was approved. :lol

Hey, think of it this way. We have Israel beating the snot out of all the countries around them. When Israel is surrounded by armies, know that your redemption is near. Luke 21:20-28, Zachariah 12:1-4. So, there should be a rapture right around the corner. This might be the last GC for the UPC. It’s a Rapture Party complete with balloons and strobe lights. Will Benjamin Netanyahu be addressing the conference via Zoom? Or Donald Trump?
