Central Florida Church w/ Active Prayer Room

Any suggestions?

I won't go there and start problems.

I just need to get closer to Jesus and I remember that my church's Prayer Room helped me to pray at least three times a week (before each service for an hour) which led me to praying at home (in my barracks room).

I won't cause problems. I just want to have an active Prayer life again.

The Prayer Room helps.

Any suggestions?

Prefer within 45 minutes of Kissimmee but at this point, I'll drive further. Wife will get used to it or stay at our church.

Stated twice that you won’t start problems. Odd!

That is because at the last Apostolic church I was ever a member of, someone asked me a question about whether I believed people other than Apostolics can be saved and I said yes.

It caused a substantial problem and I was even confronted about it. I left soon after that because I did not want to cause any more confusion.

You're right. It is odd. But the hurt and confusion I caused accidentally still bothers me when I think about it. I never meant to hurt anyone or cause confusion, but that is what happened.

J, when did you join the military? Was not aware that had happened.

Long before I found AFF.

1995 - 2009

I joined AFF after Afghanistan but before Iraq.

Church families are built from what they don’t believe.
Therefore your job is to understand what you don’t believe, and find a group who believe just like you. Asking us, for a church to make your home is futile. Because we just might send you somewhere which fit our beliefs.

I wish you the best, but you aren’t a neophyte by any stretch of the imagination. You know the deal. I hope you find what you are looking for. May you hear the voice of Jesus Christ and follow Him.
