Question for you frequent flyer type folks...
My 76 year old momma is flying alone Tuesday morning to CA and will be needing wheel chair assistance...she can walk, just not long distances.
My uncle, who has sent for her to go out there, contacted both airports and the wheelchairs will be waiting for her. She was wondering...should she tip the person who assists her?! Oh, and please help me pray for the girl...I won't be there to watch her every move and I'm concerned, ya know?! |
A blessing would be nice.Does she bake? Cookies would be nice or something to snack on.I work alot and every blessing counts.

I would think that would be customary to tip a bit.

I agree; a small tip would be appropriate in this case. I hope she enjoys her trip!

Mercy sakes...:sos He told me not to worry...that she is taking care if herself and is wearing a hat out in the sun...*sigh* Guess she doesn't need me!! :angelsad No seriously, I am thrilled that she got to go to a place she's never been and spend time with her only brother. I'm looking forward to her cockeyed pictures...she is not the best I'm telling you...:sshhh |
I never use them but have been told that the Skycaps and such make most of their living off tips so I would think that would be nice to do for them.
I would think five bucks at each end would be plenty and if she can't afford that even three bucks. Kind of like valet parking! My son does that and the usual tip is four or five bucks but he has people that tip him $10, $10, and even $50 bucks!!! |
