Chicago...

I'll be right downtown for several days and would appreciate a few excellent dining recommendations. Nothing cheap. :D Moderate to pricey is good. All cuisines are fair game. :)

Thanks!

What I would really like is to find a several places that are non-chain, uniquely Chicago.

The Chop House is 100 years old not connected with any resturant called that. It is top notch and expensive. The service is awsome. Lawrys do have locations in La & Vegas but there are not many of them. If you have never been it is quite an experience it is moderately expensive. There is also a resutrant at the top of the John Hancock building but I can remember the name. The view is beautiful at night. There is a unique sandwich place a couple blocks from the Chop House they are well known for insulting you it is a great fun place I can' remember the name? The Navy Pier is a nice place to visit.

Lawrys I know, but not The Chop House. I put it on the list. Thanks, Bro!

You will NOT be disappointed. Also there is Harry Careys and the name of a famous fish house that slips my mind. Also there is Gene's and Georgetti's a local steak place.
