5 members of the church had died from treatable diseases. Family members of each...

It is fellowship Sunday. People are bringing in food for the lunch. Someone left out the egg salad on the counter and it spoiled.

Pastor Smith says...

Re: Tony Spell has church in spite of the ban

Willful negligence. Make the pastor and his deacons legally liable for the deaths that result from ignoring the risks of this pandemic.

Re: Tony Spell has church in spite of the ban

People reap what they sow.

Refusing to aid in preventing the spread of a contagious, fatal disease has fatal results.

The message to society is clear: we do not care about public health.

Re: Tony Spell has church in spite of the ban

If Donald Trump...

Re: Government Stimulus?

I suggest tithing income from federal stimulus be put into a charity fund so the money is used to aid the poor.

If the church is poor, the pastor needs to be transparent about the monthly fiscal...

Re: The virus and Be Apostolic??

When we have snow events, like blizzards, we cancel church. The rule is if school is cancelled, so it church. That way, members can watch the news to see if there is church.

Doing so saves lots...

Re: Who was Harry Morse ?

Writing biographies can be frustrating. The obit for Winnifred Westfield, early Oneness evangelist, was one simple paragraph. According to her obit, her greatest accomplishment was being the first...

Re: Can/Should Christians Be Democrats?

Optional wars, such as the ones we have been in for many years, are as deadly as abortion.

Prolife is antiwar.

Besides, abortion is not the only moral issue we face. Therefore why is it the...

Re: Death penalty

In theory, I am for it.

In this country, a person is more likely to face terminal justice if they are a person of color or poor.

Re: Can/Should Christians Be Democrats?

If the morality of political leaders does not matter, then Christians have no unique contribution to make to politics.

If morality is not important to believers, why should it be important to...

Re: Can/Should Christians Be Democrats?

The GOP can no longer claim to be morally superior if their party leader is notoriously immoral. A vote for Trump is a vote for immorality.
