Have fun guys. I'm done trying to have a serious Bible conversation with people on the internet.

Brother Nic, tell the evangelist we continue to pray regularly for his endeavors, as well as for...

Re: Should we teach others to rebel against standa

Re: Was it God's will for Israel to have a king?

Among the Celts and Teutonic peoples, kings were often elected by the men. Oftentimes an elected king would go about trying to conquer neighboring clans/tribes to establish himself as king over...

Every church should conform to the Scripture. Where the Bible doesn't specify something, that is up to the local assembly. For example, the Bible prescribes singing psalms,...

Re: Should we teach others to rebel against standa

My point is that saying "Worldly businesses do X and everyone approves" is hardly a reason for the church doing the same thing. Kind of like this:

Mark 10:42-45 KJV
But Jesus called them to him ,...

Re: Should we teach others to rebel against standa

Businesses don't give two hoots about pride or vanity, they demand the look of their employees be appropriate to their particular industry.

But the church isn't a secular business. Well, the real...

Re: Should we teach others to rebel against standa

Although, in churches that do NOT have a no-beard...

Do pastors set "landmarks" so ministers don't get caught up in vanity or pride...
