Re: I Was Wrong!

From birth, my thoughts and world views were shaped by family, church and close friends. I had developed pillars of "truth" that I could build everything else in my life on.

When I got a little older and wiser, I figured out that some of the pillars of "truth" were mere assumptions that I had never personally researched and proved to be absolute truths.

"I was wrong" is one of the hardest phrases to say to others. It's humbling to admit that one has made judgments that were based on mis-information or assumptions. Kudos to Hoovie!

It is true that when you realize that you were wrong in one area, it causes you to research and question other areas. I find it very liberating to realize that I was RIGHT in some areas!!
