I was there toward the end of June for a couple of days. A friend and I then drove to Tikal, Belize, and on up to Texas.
Just got back from the States on Saturday, so it may be next December until I get back. Copan is a lot closer
If you fly into Guatemala City after June 17, I may be able to chauffeur you up to the Ruins if you want...it's only a few hours from here.
