Right, it is about homosexuality.

You are asking someone that used to sell Lancome. I hate makeup. The world forces it on you. But, I do wear base on occasion - organic.

I think that I would want to be careful when the Word says a women's long hair is her glory/dignity. I don't see how we could say it can't be cut. I was reading where it was said, "It may be necessary to reach outside the Greek to say uncut". I don't think Paul would reach outside the Greek. He didn't need to. "Akoptos" in the Greek means "uncut", so Paul had a word he could have used. IMO, when you say shorn or shaven, you are talking about the way a man would cut his hair. That is "cropped short" or "shaved off".

I have never liked jewelry, hate rings, earrings, but I think if we taught moderation it would be more true to what the Word is talking about. It is not saying not to wear it.

People are generally obsessive compulsive about things, so you would simply need to set an example. Nothing wrong with dress codes. If places of business have rules of dress, there is nothing wrong with the church having them as well. We want to be a decent society.

Well, I was 27 before I finally had the guts to wake up, so you've still got two years!

Just one thing about the makeup....the world forces it on you?? My wife has never had it forced on her and "The world" had nothing to do with her deciding to wear it.
