Hmm, not sure I'd agree with you on this one.......any critique can make us examine ourselves, even if the criticizer doesn't have our best interests at heart.
It's easy to determine whether someone has a valid point or are just trying to find fault......if they are fault finding, you can disregard it and move on......but, if they may have a valid observation, I wouldn't want to turn it away without considering their viewpoint.
But, I guess we'll have to agree to disagree on this one!
