In today's society, it seems like lying has become a way of life for so many. Politicians have resorted to the game of lying like never before. President Nixon got in trouble for one lie, which eventually cost him his presidency. The current President seems to use lying daily. Now, liberals and Obama protectors, go ahead and get mad at me but there are scores of proven occasions where Pres. Obama has out and out not told the truth.
My next question is this... “When a liberal takes up for Obama in his lies does that make the liberal a liar, too?” Let me ask another question, "Shouldn't we be so very careful in how we take up for liars?"
Now you can get mad at me for asking, but how does God look at us? When does lying become lying to Him?
The Bible plainly tells us how God looks at lying. ...... Re 21:8* But the fearful, and unbelieving, and the abominable, and murderers, and whoremongers, and sorcerers, and idolaters, and ALL liars, shall have their part in the lake which burneth with fire and brimstone: which is the second death.
I find it interesting that the scriptures said, “the fearful, unbelieving, abominable, murderers, whoremongers, sorcerers, idolaters and ALL liars shall have their part.....” Why was the emphasis on liars more severe than the rest of the guilty? (ALL!)
Do we unconsiciously lie? Example! Someone drives up at our home and we say to the family, “Oh no, look who just drove up. I don’t have time to mess with them! I wish they had not come by here!” Then we go to the door and open it saying, “Well hello! It’s so good to see you. Come on in! So glad you stopped by.”
So, my question again, “When does lying become lying?” Do people unconsciously think they can get by? God help me always speak the truth, in love! Just askin'
