You seem to think it is an "either / or" situation! I have heard too many good preachers in Pentecost who don't scream to think it is a must to be "enthusiastic".
If that is your cup of tea more power to you but I can guarantee you for every person that eats up the screaming it causes just as many to tune out.
I would also like to point out I am in no way impuning this preacher's integrity, etc. He is probably a great person. I am just commenting on his preaching style. The first time I heard of him he was greeting the congregation at a conference (thank heavens not preaching) and from the instant he got behind the microphone he was screaming full blast. Did not even build up to it. I looked at my wife stunned and she started laughing and told me who he was and that was what he did. She grew up in the state he pastors in and knows him.

CC1 you need to start appreciating the screamers at our age. If we fall asleep they will wake us back up.
