Does God hear the sinner's prayer?

I asked God to remove the desire for cigarettes from me LONG before I repented, received the baptism of the Holy Ghost and was immersed in the waters of baptism "in the name of the Lord Jesus Christ" for the remission of my sins.

Just something that I believe is worthy of consideration when pondering this mater.
Bro. PaPaDon,

I agree with your great post. And no doubt when Paul in Romans !2:3,

was telling the church at Rome, to think soberly, according as God hath

dwelt to every man THE measure of faith. God gave every man a little

faith to begin with.
