I think "God tells me what to believe," certainly true for each of us on some level, just smacks too much of "Well, I do what the voices tell me," lol.
And, while I would like to admit that I've verified all my "knowledge," I'm just not sure that this is practically true; much of what I believe was passed down, and hasn't shown a need for review--and some of what I believe is surely like a child, akin to "no,
storks bring babies"...relatively.
