Thank you, Sis. Renda,
How precious!!
We had a wonderful Mother's Day service today. The message was en-
titled, "The Spirit of Mother", comparing natural motherhood with spiritual
Motherhood (the church). Five of our six adult children and their families were
there. The pastor is our son in law (married to our middle daughter). The
sixth adult son and his family went to his mother in laws. I have always told
my children. You be fair. She/he needs to have time for their parents too.
Otherwise you will have in law trouble. We must keep it balanced. Ours all
live close, except the one and they only live fifteen miles away. I am not a
smothering mother or mother in law, nor a controlling one. I didn't have one
of either and I don't want to be one. We want some space and they do too.
This is the way my parents who lived in the same town and many of their
children lived there too, were. They had respect for their married children's
privacy and their children did likewise!!! Don't know why I said all that. LOL!!
Blessings to all the beautiful people on AFF!! In Jesus Name!!
