Standard teaching on the person and work of the Holy Spirit starts at
Genesis 1:1-2 with the Spirit of God hovering like a dove over the fluid face of the earth. In the Old Testament God was
1. Father (sovereign king over all, originator of all, father figure to Israel) and was everywhere present at all times. He was the invisible God.
2. Word/Logos/Memra (God who was sent, God who was localized, God made visible, God who interacted with humankind on a personal basis, God who could be seen with the eyes, God who could be felt with the hands) some times called the Angel of YHWH.
3. Spirit of God (God dwelling within, God moving upon, God energizing and gifting people) as such He was the manifested presence instead of the omni-presence
