While some of
Zechariah 14 describes future realities, not all of the chapter does. Verses 1-2 describe events that happened during the Roman destruction of Jerusalem in 70AD; and there is a lot of evidence that the events described in verses 4-5 have already happened.
The problem with your conclusion that
Zechariah 14 can only refer to future events is that it is based on a fallacious context deriving from a mistranslation of 14:5, that is found in bibles that use the Masoretic Text version of this verse. The correct rendition of this verse is found in the Septuagint (LXX):
