Well, you quoted it (or interpreted it) as a literal, truthful article, when in fact it was a piece of satire meant for entertainment.
If you knew it was satirical and posted it as truth, that would be disingenuous and might require an apology, or at least a, "Pardon me, I misled you for my own entertainment." If you didn't realize it was satirical, no apology is necessary and the demands for an apology are rather silly and juvenile, IMO.
