One thing from the article I was not aware of on the nitrate-free is the celery salt aspect causing the bacon to have much more nitrates. That was informative and interesting. I will have to check the organic brand I use to see if that is what they do as well. |
Target sells a whole line of organic meats. They are more expensive though and a shorter shelf life
