The quality of posting and discussion is affected to a great deal by the people doing the posting.

If Renda, myself and Boomm for example are sitting around the table talking and discussing.......the discussion will be of a certain quality and a certain level. If you put other posters together for example RRFord, Newman and others I can think of the discussion is going to be of a different quality and go to another whole level (in my opinion). It's just the way it is.

Education affects quality of discussion I believe. I love listening to those more intelligent and more knowledgeable than I. I learn and see things in a way I might not have before.

So the quality of discussion depends a lot on who is doing the discussing. Some people are much more able and willing to spend the effort to debate and examine views and issues - doctrinal and otherwise - in a way some of us don't and can't.

Not all minds are alike. There IS some good discussion that takes place here.
