"i need money to survive" is the biggest lie ever told, imo.

gospel; others, stay "lost" because they heard a word that led them astray. They
are subsequently led to a false sense of righteousness or a false sense of salvation.
I believe each one of us fit into one of those categories.
Those who have not heard the calling of the Lord, strive with those who obey!

hmm, i wonder if each of us might not fit in to more than one of those at a time--your last statement can certainly become self-serving. While i more or less agree with the analysis, i see this leading to a false sense of salvation, wherein those that have heard the gospel, and, say, respond to
Acts 2:38, and do the works required by their church to be considered saved, then consider themselves immune from a false sense of righteousness or even salvation. We are led to assume we have arrived, and so stop searching for a deeper knowledge, instead becoming Bible lawyers; when the early Church did not even
have Acts 2:38, but only Grace.
i wouldn't say that this is universal, but certainly prevalent.
