I am so sorry for your loss. I know that people who are not dog lovers don't understand but they become part of our lives and family.

Our beautiful big dog Lady died just a few months ago at around 18-20 years old. She has been a part of our lives since our kids were very little. It was hard to let her go but she had contracted Rocky Mountain Spotted fever about 1 1/2 years ago and that was the beginning of the end for her. Prior to that she was 16-18 years old and went rabbit and mole hunting every day!!!
