In that Bible study by Elder Riggen he demonstrates how when It speaks of the Father it is speaking of the Spirit and then how when it speaks of the Son it is speaking of the flesh . I think point 1 is there is 1 only 1 God. Point 2 is when the scripture speaks of the Fathee it speaking of the Spirit point 3 when the scripture speaks of the Son its speaking of the flesh I can't remember number 4 for the life of me. But he uses many scriptures. But I was a trinitarian or went to a trinitarian church (I never believed in 3 Gods that's ridiculous.) But I would explain it that way cuz I was told that is the right way to say it. But i was taught by a Brother at the church off that very Bible study and I seen it. But I was hungry and I'm not a big traditional person so if he doesn't come around off that then he has made up his mind and only God can change it. Prayer will be the only thing that will work.
Most people are just scared to go off on a new path. They don't feel they know enough about it to break out and do something different. When no one they know or grew up around believed it the way we teach it. Then you have to face the facts everyone you knew that told you about God that believed like that, when they died they went to hell, and some just can't bear it; and will go running off into a fiery abyss over that. Tradition is going to lead more people to hell then anything else.
