They are prophets, so assassinations, fraudulent elections, or dying of natural causes should of been in the prophecy somewhere? I mean, some of these prophets aren't brief. They build paragraphs, sometime entire serial prophecy which goes on for months. Remember with our technology, Internet, YouTubes, Television, books, all sorts of media venues. We actually get a play by play, and in much detail. So, when they drop the proverbial watermelon ( I'm not saying they will mind you ) it's hard for them to crawfish back with excuses.

If someone has prophesied that Trump would win the election, but that clandestine rampant election fraud stole the election from him, but he fought against it and the Supreme Court got involved and declared hundreds of thousands of ballots invalid, and so, handed President Trump the victory, and it comes to pass, I would give them some credit.
But even then, it looks more like just being able to pay attention and read the chalkboard from the first row.
