The tree of life is eternal life now. It is not a literal Tree, I believe. The tree lines both sides of the river of life, and
Psalm 2 ties that in with us as trees planted by the waters whose fruit and leaves remain, while the fruit and leaves are emphasized in
Rev 22 on the tree. It's all related to
Ezekiel 47.
