Roe v wade is just a symptom of a larger problem.
The part of the 14th amendment that makes certain rights from the bill of rights applicable to state laws has been expanded by the federal courts far beyond its initial intent.
That part of that amendment is the root of most American discord. It’s what allows the federal government to muddle in state affairs just on the pretense that there may be civil rights issues at stake, which allows the federal government far to great an influence into state affairs.
