As I've heard it before, it is usually mentioned as a principle or way of church etiquette. Being in the South, these Apostolics present it as being in bad manner to leave a ministry where you received the Holy Ghost. They relay it is out of order to the ministry where said individual was filled, but yet it is basically a control thing and gives the body means to outcast those that leave their assembly for another.
You could be wrong? Bro. Flame, how much time did you spend with these brothers to find out what they believe? I’ve understood the whole “grow where the Lord planted teaching” as being part and parcel of a lot of Christian denominations. I’ve also heard the “spiritual adultery” teaching which is used by Pentecostals, Charismatics, and even Independent Baptists. Yet, instead of who receives the Holy Ghost where, and when. It’s about where you were water baptized. I’ve dealt with individuals who wanted to rebaptize an individual if they were baptized in Jesus name. Or if they were baptized in Jesus name in a UPC congregation. Or in a Brand X Apostolic Church. But, all we can do is guess at what you have presented us. For the simple reason we don’t know these brothers and what they actually teach. You yourself don’t represent them fairly since you haven’t the foggiest idea what they actually teach.

How about you just coming out to these brothers and ask them to teach you what they believe?

Then come back and tell us
