My dad was almost a priest...he even went so far as to take a year or two of the schooling requirements. My aunt is now the 15th Prioress in her area. Staunch Catholic background here.
When I was baptized in Jesus Name, I was told I was bound for hell because I left the Catholic tenants. Then I left our local UPC and was told the same thing.
