Had a similar experience too last night, Rev....decided I needed to go to the lake, watch the ducks, and gather my thoughts...was feeling a bit overwhelmed and physically exhausted from a hard day's work with only 3 hours sleep from Sunday 11am till 7pm Monday....so I got up and told my wife I needed to step out for a bit so that I can see life slow down a bit for me...it was, indeed, therapeutic to say the least....first, I sat on a bench and just pondered and stared at the lake and ducks for about 45 minutes, then I walked around the lake and later on went to the high school track for 2 mile jog....it did wonders for me....sometimes, we need to pause and watch a good sunset or observe while the the ducks are swimming in the lake...
