I used this scripture in my message on Sunday.
I titled it, "God is speaking, are you listening?"
Yes, we do get caught up in the everyday life. I drove past and old friend of the family yesterday.
We talked about us aging, and how there doesn't seem to be anyone sitting on their front porches, or front steps.
This person has a 23 yr old daughter and we told her about how we used to sit on the front porch and took it easy, we also told how we connected with our neighbors.
Slow down and enjoy the sunset indeed.
