It doesn't wash, now if you want to use Christian Character and decency as a way to point people's posts in the right direction that is all and good and should be appropriate.

But lawsuits wont work and federal courts actually have precedent and lawsuits alleging slander against sites will be dismissed, individuals can be sued but slander and lible lawsuits are very hard to win and damages have to proveable in regard to financial.

A similar threat and suit was brought against Craigslist (deeper pockets than anyone here or most likely in the organization) and it was dismissed entirely.

The main issue being that Internet Sites cannot be held responsible for content placed on their sites. Now individuals can be held liable and sued in the case that real monetary damages can be proven, good luck with that!

Yeah but anyone can bring up a lawsuit and if there are reasons for it (like someone did post something), the forum owners may have to hire a lawyer to work for them, which is going to cost them a pretty penny
