I don't deny that
willful sinners can theoretically be lost. But why would someone that is born again become a willful sinner? I think that people that have been born again have an innate sensitivity towards a repentant heart.
John 10:28,29 says "my sheep hear my voice and I know them...I give unto them eternal life and they shall never perish, neither shall any pluck them out of my hand." Weren't the false teachers turned over to satan for their own good?? ie: God's rod of correction is for our own good and salvation. I think it is very difficult to lose salvation. We would have to outsin God's daily renewable mercy. Hard to say if such a person were ever born again in the first place.
