speaking of fermented wine for communion.
I remember one time talking to Bishop Brock, who was the Presiding Bishop of the Church of Jesus Christ, and he was very firm that only fermented wine should be used in communion. Actually, my UPC pastor was strong on that also. Bishop Brock said he was going to take some home made wine to the church in Corbin, KY because it was a dry county and they could not buy it there. I told him he could be arrested for bootlegging. He countered with, "I'll just tell them it's the blood of Jesus." I told him then they might lock him up in an asylum.
