By the use of emotional rhetoric one may think he or she can sway opinion to their cause, but it only lasts until the next individual comes along with a better tear jerker, or urban legend to send the puzzled student off on the next rabbit trail.
Logic and reason go a long way, it's sad how some might say they use it, but in practice they're constantly using emotional rhetoric.
Call the Holy Day what it really is, a Roman Catholic feast day borrowed from Persian Mithraites.

EB, I asked you this question earlier in the thread, and forgive me if I overlooked your answer, but if you would be so kind as to respond again -
Do you believe this is a salvational issue? If a Christian decorates a tree, exchanges gifts, listens to Christmas carols, etc. do you believe they will go to hell?
