Seriously though... I am just judging the mans body language in his interviews... If he's lying I'd be surpised. Did you watch the press conference or hear the tape of his conversation with McNamee? You should give it a listen.

No, I'm not emotionally invested in this, but I tend to have a good sense of when some one is lying to me. I thought Clinton was lying. And Vick, and Marion, and McGuire, and Rafael Palmiero and Justin Gatlin. And it turns out they were all indeed lying. When something just doesnt smell right it doesn't smell right.
I just don't see anything different in the Roger Clemens case that should make me thing he's telling the truth.
Yes, I heard the 17 minute tape, and saw the news conference. Its on Espn.com. I didn't hear anything there that should make me think the other guy had lied. It seemed to me Clemens was being careful with his words, trying to see if he could get something on the tape he could use. I don't know what you heard or saw that made you feel he's innocent. As a matter of fact, he was asked point blank
at least 12 times "what do you want me to do" ? "let me know what you want me to do?" etc If he was truly not guilty it seemed Clemes would have said "I want you to tell them I didnt use steroids". Plain and simple. The other guy sounded sorry that Clemens and his family are hurt by the situation. But he didn't seem apologetic in the sense that he feels he he had lied about Roger. And Roger never accused the guy of lying either. I was waiting for that... didn't hear it.
If you feel he's an innocent man, fine. Its not a life or death issue. If it turns out he's innocent, lets hope he's exonerated. But as far as athletes proclaiming "I'm innocent", I've seen this movie before.
Dozens of people were fingered by this guy in the Mitchell report. Clemens is the only one making a big stink over this. It doesn't make sense to me that the guy would tell the truth (under oath) about everybody else, but lie about just one person, Roger Clemens.
...just one man's opinion.
