PLEASE Let's Stay Right on Topic on this one

Hey everybody,
I have a question I'm going to throw out, concerning a verse in a chapter we all know VERY well.

I Corinthians 11:10 For this cause ought the woman to have power on her head because of the angels.

"Power On" In Greek: "Exousia Epi"

Can anyone tell me what they think this means? This does have to do with hair and the debate over headcovering/veiling, but I don't want to get sidetracked on that. Let's just take this verse and see what exousia epi has to tell us.

Could this power on be synonomous with power over, therefore giving HER the decision, authority and power over her hair, whether it is cut or not or what condition she chooses keeps it in?

GOD BLESS!
Bro. Alex
