I was not arguing whether or not they are an organization, but pointing out why they assert they are not. But since you bring it up,
the UPC manual only precludes belonging to secret societies and being licensed or ordained by another organization. They're definitely not secret and do not license or ordain so even if they are another organization it doesn't matter, theoretically.
