Re: Bill Clinton was guest Spkr.@ Apostolic ch. Su

You know, I couldn't care less about BC's philandering. If we judge people by sexual immorality, and vote accordingly, you'd probably be better off staying home. (Instead of voting)

Are these people Christians? Why would we expect them to live up to some biblically moral ideal if they aren't? And quite frankly, I think Bush has done more damage in his presidency than Clinton did by messing around with Monica in the oval office.

I voted for Bush, and he has completely disappointed me. He has morphed from good ol' Texas boy into a puppet on a string with no voice of his own, who parrots his own speeches over and over to the point if you listen to state of the union address 2003, you may as well chalk it up that you won't need to listen to 2008, since it's all the same rhetoric...over and over and over and over and....

I'm not sure what happened to Bush along the way, but at some point he has become powerless and ineffective.

Bill Clinton doesn't concern me at all. If he wants to attend church every now and then, then I say that's great. No matter what he has done, we would be honoured if he visited our church on Sunday morning, and so would the rest of you, no doubt. Or would you turn your head and walk right on by him with your nose in the air? Uh-huh, I didn't think so.
