Actually computers ARE starting to do some pretty amazing things based on how the human brain sees things. Most, if not all, would have trouble seeing the individual words in the above sentence yet when placed IN a sentence, they just sort of "make sense".
A visual analogy would be a picket fence. Standing in one spot and looking through it does not give a very good view because 50% or more is blocked by the wooden posts. Yet as soon as you start MOVING and looking through it, the posts sort of vanish and you can see nearly perfectly.
