One thing I know from experience is that some help and some don't. The point of having a fellowship -even though it is more like an organization- is to have someone there to be the family and help in the need of a crisis. Obviosly we can not know for sure if the UPC church did or did not offer. One thing we can say is the AG church did and they are not as close and not part of the fellowship/family. They are part of the body of Christ but what about the family? It says great things about the AG churches leadership and view of the body. It is just sad to me that if you are close enough to another church of the same organization and are not the first ones to ask to assist. IMO

I am not sure the other UPC building that is close would have been large enough.
