I teach bible studies....how many sunday school teachers that never thump behind a pulpit will be there? Or elders?

I was invited and I don't hold a licence... I teach Bible studies and my husband preached and will again one day I'm sure.
But I think the purpose, my friend, is to keep those who would come in and stir up things making it an unpleasant place, from coming in. .
That, to me, makes a whole pile of sense. Preachers, Pastors, all deal with junk every day. If they want a forum where they can just hang with some others in their profession.. they deserve it.
Some days when I read posts on here, I wonder if that isn't the way to go. But then I'd miss the fellowship I get here most days.. in spite of the negative
And yes, elders, those who labor in preaching and teaching are due honor. I think that jaded eyes have a hard time seeing past the man to the preacher nowadays. We've been hurt too many times. But God knows there are still many many Good men who are worthy of esteem and honor and respect.
