I think what you will find is that pastors that knew LW and the situation at JCM well, will not use him.
Those that know him as an aquaintence, and only by his obvious musical talent and songwriting may indeed offer to use him. His songs are/were truly annointed. LW hasn't forgotten how to move in the spirit at a concert.
You have a good spirit, acharris, and I know that you mean well! What you haven't heard yet, is the tearful personal testimony of someone that experienced abuse at LW's hands. I know of one where there has never been an apology offered!
This is truly a sad situation! Please understand that I know it's easier to forgive or take someone at face value if you only know half of the story!

The bolded sentence above really captured my attention. You brought up a very important detail that needed to be addressed and that was the victims that LW left in his wake! LW clearly was a predator that took advantage of young people and if he has sought forgiveness from God he must seek forgiveness from his victims.
