Worked my 8hr shift on Fri; loaded car and my husband, son and I drove 560 miles. We reached our destination about 5AM. I slept some in the car but we were all tired. My MIL is 92 and is in an assisted living apt. It's been a while since we visited.
Today after a catnap for all, we talked, showed her "hundreds" of photos
of my year old grandaughter >her greatgrandaughter; but she has 15 great-grandchildren and 3 great-great grandchildren, so for her it's not new anymore.
Ate out, visited some old friends, a full day....we'll be up early Sun. to meet some other friends for breakfast. Then another lonngg drive and all of us must be at work at 8AM Mon morn.
