This seemed so private a thing from a mother to her son. I felt somewhat guilty reading it. Yet in my heart I am rejoicing. To think of a mother and father giving so much to a work and that mantle passing on to their child. To hear a mothers words so full of wisdom and pride, dare I say it, that she sees much of herself and her burden in her child. I actually cried reading this and thinking what an awesome heritage to pass on.

When your rest does finally come, embrace it and enjoy it. Your race has been long and hard and you have been faithful and steadfast. Your crown will be filled with many jewels I am sure.
