...Well. The bagpipe playing in and of itself sent me into a very inappropriate and untimely fit of giggles...our church isn't huge, it certainly isn't a hillside in Scotland, and when that guy fired up and started down the aisle, I nearly lost it. To make it worse, apparently there was some huge sentimental value to the poor deceased saint's grown granddaughter who was sobbing the whole time, which added to my amusement. (Yeah, I was sittin' up front by the organ, in plain sight...my best friend elbowing me in the ribs.) I had to bite my tongue till it nearly bled to stop myself from ruining the funeral and my somber, appropriate image.
Word To The Wise: Bagpipes are great if they're about a block or more away. Any closer than that...
