well, he was RIGHT on the points Dan has listed. I wish he were a better diplomat and had avoided thed treaty of Versailles.

but this is the point where I take some issue with WW, the ideals were somewhat flawed and those flaws run the UN today. Count me among those who see the UN as an abject failure.


but on balance I agree Woodrow Wilson ranks pretty high up the list of 20th century presidents.

Maybe the first "real" Moderen era president?

Please dont take the comment about Carter to be a reflection on Wilson.
