Which is why I am always asking myself..... Why are there no (or very very few -never heard one myself) fire and brimstone sermons about the subject of love, compassion, and long suffering?

I have standards, but in my Church it isn't preached, but taught, and even then not often.
You will have a greater chance on hearing preached about Christian living and attitude than anything else.
